Within the “Smart Market” challenge, Finvalia has developed a multilingual chatbot based on language models (LLM) that transforms the complexity of natural wood into immediate and accurate answers. Its mission: to support a global sales network that needs to respond about prices, qualities, formats, or delivery times… even from a mobile phone.

How the chatbot works

  • Specialized error-free training. The bot is powered by thousands of design manuals, veneer datasheets, price lists, and Finsa’s internal stock levels, not by generic internet sources.
  • Multi-agent architecture. Several sub-models collaborate: one queries the ERP, another the stock Excel file, and another interprets design standards, assembling the optimal response.
  • Integrated computer vision. An additional module analyzes images and searches for similar products in the catalog in real time.

Examples in action

  • Cost of a luxury hotel kitchen. A professional asks: “How much would a kitchen unit for a luxury hotel cost?” The multi-agent system locates the right wood species, checks veneer stock availability, calculates the required surface, and returns a price and delivery estimate within seconds.
  • Image-based search. The client sends a reference photo; the chatbot identifies the design and suggests the most similar available veneers, automatically triggering the sales process.
